My September is off with a bang! The first half of the month has been wonderfully busy and fun!!

First, I took my sister and my oldest daughter to see Lady Gaga in concert. A-MA-ZING! I love concerts and I have been to a lot of them. This was one for the books. The energy of the audience was electric, and people came in fantastic costumes! There was a very diverse crowd in attendance – age, gender, ethnicity…everyone came together in love and light for Lady Gaga. She sounded wonderful and the theatrics were next level. I was so grateful to experience that with my family!

Three days after the concert I had the pleasure of speaking to the 2022 Kentucky SHRM conference attendees on how to train managers. Such a great event! The hotel in downtown Louisville was lovely and everyone was so inviting. Best of all were the HR pros who attended my sessions – I met some amazing people who are working hard in the HR industry to make work great. I was blessed to spend time with my peers and share stories. Speaking has become one of my favorite things to do; I feel so energized afterwards.

I rounded out the first week of the month with my second guest appearance on the HR Social Hour Half Hour podcast! If you are not familiar with HR Social Hour and you are an HR pro – I urge you to seek out this amazing resource! You’ll find connection, support, and resources all in one place. Consider joining us for the next HR Social Hour Twitter chat on 9/25! Please check out my episode and let me know your thoughts:

My Ohio State Buckeyes are off to a great start and I’m looking forward to a lot of exciting football in the coming weeks!! I am loving spending time on campus as an adjunct professor in HR.

All in all, life is good. I am so blessed and my cup is overflowing.
