I Choose Positive

In these strange and uncertain times, I choose to remain positive.  I tend to be a ‘glass half full’ gal anyway and I appreciate that quality now more than ever.  So, let’s look on the bright side of this whole thing –

For the next couple of weeks, we GET to stay home.  We’ve been given the gift of time – time to spend with our families, time to do things around the house, time to just be.  I’m looking forward to it.  It’s something most of us wish for desperately but rarely are able to realize.  I’m going to take this opportunity to be more involved in my girls’ schooling and tackle some home projects.  I am an avid reader and I am eternally grateful for e-readers at this point in time!!  I want to go outside for walks and breathe in fresh air.  I choose to see this as a gift and a blessing.

Wouldn’t the world as a whole benefit from a nice break?  I know – not everyone wants to, people feel like they can’t, this wasn’t planned, etc.  I get all that.  But now that it’s here and we essentially have no choice – let’s embrace it!  Take time to relax.  Breathe.  Focus.  Listen.  Ask yourself the important questions.  I really feel this could be exactly what everyone needs.

How often have you said, ‘I wish I had time for…’  Well, here it is – go!  And enjoy.
